This is a humorous take on Black Mustard (Brassica nigra) a naughty, or perhaps just misplaced, invasive annual weed. Far-flung from other places: Northern Africa, Western and Central Asia, and parts of Europe it has literally put down roots here in California. And this guy is not a good party guest, stealing the drinks of their hosts (native plants), crowding them out of their own soil (decreasing biodiversity) and parties WAY too hard (likes to burn hot and fast).
